Natasha Radjabova has developed an anti-aging facial exercise program.
Entrepreneur Natasha Radjabova has found a way to help people defy their advancing years. "Our facial exercise program can help to diminish wrinkles," she claims.
Her company, appropriately named FaceFlex (www.faceflex.ca), utilizes an anti-aging facial exercise program designed for women and men over the age of 30. The FaceFlex exercise program consists of 22 facial exercises that target major muscle groups in the face.
"By giving our facial muscles a simple workout, we can help our faces to defy our age," Radjabova explains.
"The face has about 52 muscles that can be stimulated to increase firmness and elasticity," Radjabova says. "It uses the same principles of exercise you would use for any other part of your body."
Radjabova recognized market demand when she noticed wrinkles on her own forehead. "I thought they appeared a little bit early and I wanted to get rid of them fast," she says. "I researched every possible solution to this common problem and discovered a facial exercise program dating back to about 25 years ago. I reinvented and reshaped the exercises to make them more effective and challenging."
After testing her new facial exercises, she realized she could give people a natural face lift without invasive procedures.
She's confident in the potential of her young business, and is certainly having a good time running it. "I like to do fun things and this business has been designed to be fun," she says. "For example, I deliver workshops called FaceFlex Parties where a few people can learn about facial fitness and do the exercises in a relaxed, fun and supportive setting."
Radjabova was drawn to self-employment because she loves to finish what she starts. She also drew inspiration from her parents, who gave up a lot to come to Canada. "Because they gave me an opportunity to pursue my dreams, I made a vow to do my best to provide for them when I get older," she says.
One of the lessons she's learned as an entrepreneur involves having a positive attitude. "You've got to believe in your business and by doing so people will believe in you," Radjabova says. "Everywhere I go, I talk about what I do and people are amazed by how passionate I am about facial exercise."
She's all smiles about the future of her business. "My plan is to expand to a national level," Radjabova says. "I think a lot of people across Canada would benefit from facial fitness. And I'd like to publish a small book featuring the exercises."
